My Story
I’ve had a needle and thread in my hand for as long as I can remember. Sewing has always been a constant passion of mine, but my journey into the world of machine embroidery started with a bit of a challenge from my mum.
She had bought herself a small embroidery machine and asked if I could digitise a few custom designs for her to try. Curious, I downloaded a free trial of embroidery software—and within hours, I was completely hooked. Watching a digital artwork file transform stitch-by-stitch into a tangible, textured design felt like magic.
Before long, I knew I needed my own setup to really push the boundaries. I bought my own embroidery machine so I could test-stitch my designs, experiment with different fabrics, and problem-solve on the fly. Being able to see my digitising come to life on my own machine allowed me to refine every single stitch, ensuring that every design runs smoothly and looks flawless.
What started as helping out my mum quickly grew into Frogstool, where I get to combine my lifelong love of sewing with the creative precision of digitising.
